Little Red Riding Hood

Here's the latest addition to my etsy shop, Rosie aka Little Red Riding Hood. She's getting ready to visit Grandma who's not feeling too well again. Must be something chronic, or perhaps it's just old age and living in the woods. She probably needs insulation in that little cottage of hers... Anyway I digress!

Lucky for Grandma, Rosie knows just how to cheer up just about anyone. Rosie loves all things red and, well rosy. She wears a red, floral dress with hood, red felt shoes and has abandoned the basket for a more practical sling tote. It's red, of course. In Rosie's bagthere's a "get well" card for Grandma, some of Grandma's favourite magazines on bugs and Rosie's favourite toy doll.

Rosie was so much fun to make I think there will be other versions in the offing. Lucy informs me that she needs more stuff in her bag - but I can't remember what else little Red Riding Hood had with her. I'll have to refresh my fairytale memory. I was thinking she could do with a can of mace to get rid of that nasty wolf or a mobile phone to call the woodsman but that might be getting tricky!
