Well we have been going through boxes of tissues and bottles of nurofen and panadol at a great rate. We are still in varying stages of sickness and I am so glad that I'm not working at the moment because I don't think I would have made it in for weeks. It's great not to have that pressure...
Poor Lucy's recurring tonsillitis has recurred - as it does I suppose. So the operation has been booked and Lulu will be tonsil and adenoid free in a few weeks. I'm more anxious about it than she is. I think she is just so tired from being constantly sick and missing school.
My little Jake was accepted into Preschool for next year. I can't believe he will be three in a couple of months. It will be a strange thing having two child-free days next year. I might actually get the house properly cleaned!
Thwart - it's a weird word isn't it. Just getting it out of your mouth is an act of thwarting logic. I was unsuccessful in my application to the Powerhouse Museum's Young Blood market. :( [It's a great market held over a Friday evening and a Saturday.] Hence I feel thwarted. And all the stock I've been busily making will have to find another outlet. I think it will end up being a friends and family shopping afternoon / night. We had two last year and they were lots of fun. So watch this space for details of the *event*. I might even work in a freebie for blog readers who come!

Ooh, I hope it is at a time that I can come. I fancy the red scarf and brooch you have on Etsy, red is my favourite colour these days, but can't justify such a purchase at the moment. I hope you are all feeling better soon.
Hi Sarah,
I do hope you are all feeling much better very soon. It's been a terrible season for illness this year. Bronte started a great discussion tonight around the dinner table, wanting to know if it was God who made people sick seeing as He was the one who could make people better. We answered as best as we could. I was so sad to hear that you didn't get your application approved. I will definitely come along to a buying night if I'm free. Are you guys free on 17th July for a child-friendly catch up? Row and her family are free. We'd love to see you if you are around and feeling well enough. Lots of love to you from us. Debbie
