1. the lovely and honest telecommunications guy who could actually explain why the wireless thingo I was trying to install wasn't working (and probably would never work!)
2. lovely cool days after the hot weekend

what's not
1. telecommunications companies who sell products that don't work
2. spending an hour talking with telecommunications companies about the products which don't work and feeling like an idiot
3. getting uptight about telecommunications companies when I should be grateful that I have food in the cupboard, a roof over my head and a family who loves me
