I recently heard about an amazing group of mums / moms in the US who run Craft Hope. Their latest work is raising money for Haiti via Medecins san Frontieres through their etsy shop. They way it works is that fellow craftsters donate an item which is listed and when it is sold the donor posts it to whomever has made the purchase. In the couple of weeks they have been running this program they have raised $20,000 for Medecins sans Frontieres. WOW!
My Betty and Millicent bears will soon be jetting off somewhere. If you want to donate something get in touch with crafthope via their blog. Or else go and buy a little something for someone here.
I reckon these women and their families will need a big rest after they're done.
